Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette: Review and First Impressions

Finally, the day has come, I’ve got my hands on the naked heat palette, the newest addition to the naked palette family at Urban Decay.

I’m a massive fan of the naked palettes so when I saw they were launching one that was focused around warm tones I knew I had to have it.

I missed out on the first pre-sale so had to wait a few weeks and managed to grab it during an online exclusive sale a couple of days before the UK launch.

I got free delivery which was great and 10%  off using my student discount so it worked out at just over £35 and it arrived within 2 days, and it is gorgeous!

I love the packaging, it’s similar to the usual packaging of the naked palettes, but it’s in this orange/red/gold colours.

The Shades

This palette is designed to be the warm toned palette which is perfect for me.

There’s a mixture of mattes and shimmers but the majority are matte, which is great for very modern smokey eyes, matte smokey eyes are really on trend at the moment.

The pigmentation is amazing, as you’d expect with the Urban Decay shadows, the colours are really intense but easy to blend and work with.

The Looks

I’ve started having a play with some of the shades and have fallen in love with a few.

The highlighter called ‘ounce’ is so beautiful on the brow bone, and sauced which is a matte orange toned brown  is a great crease or base colour, but my favourite shade is ‘lumbre’, it looks like a normal shimmery shade in the pan, but on the lid it’s an intense dark pink with gold shimmer, it blends out so nicely and looks like you’ve put way more effort in than you have.

If you’d like me to do a post sharing some of my favourite looks using this palette, then let me know in the comments!

Overall, I’d say that anyone who loves warm colours, needs this palette, it is truly worth the investment!

I’ve got a couple of other new eyeshadow palettes, so I’ll be reviewing them soon!

There’s so much controversy about this but I’m still sort of intrigued to give this a try! Great post, it’d mean a lot if you checked my blog out too x
