I’ve always admired people who can pull off midi-length floaty dresses and just look so classy but I’ve never really thought it was ‘my style’.
I’ve always been more of a mini dress and bodycon kind of girl but as I’ve got a bit older, my fashion sense has changed and now the more elegant the better.
There’s nothing inelegant about mini lengths or tight fitting fabrics but my body shape has also changed over the years and I don’t think they best flatter me, so anything wrap style and midi length now has my heart.
I’ve recently picked up a few new bits in this style, one of my favourite being a dress I just had to share with you today because I am obsessed with it!
I never really shop the brands section of Topshop but the one I visited was pretty small, so I got chance to have a proper look at everything.
I was specifically on the look out for dresses in this style, so when I spotted this, I knew I had to try it on.
This midi length, wrap style leopard print dress is from a brand called ‘In Love with Fashion‘ which I’ve never heard of but am certainly now in love with myself.
It was £45 which for the quality I was happy to pay and I got a size XS. I’m a size 6-10, so I’d say sizing is quite generous as the top half still fits slightly big.
I decided that when it came to styling this dress, it was best to let the print do the talking and keep the accessories minimal.
I paired with black sandal heels from Next, my black Michael Kors bag, black and gold Monica Vinader bracelet and gold hoop earrings.
I think black and gold are the perfect colours to pair with leopard print and I picked out the gold colours in my makeup too to tie everything together.
I just wanted to share this dress because it is so beautiful but I also wanted to let you know how I styled leopard print as I’ve seen it a lot on the high street, so it’s clearly popular this season!
If you want to get your hands on this leopard wrap dress, head to Topshop!
